100% Guilt-Free Vegan Brownies

This would have to be my favorite recipe when it comes to vegan brownies! This recipes is not ours, though. I give all the credit to http://www.food.com/recipe/vegan-brownies-19282.

Well, let's get started on some of the finest vegan brownies that I know! Here's what you'll need:
For the 'egg replacer':

  • 1 Cup water
  • 1/2 Cup flour
For the brownies:
  • 1 1/2 Cup flour
  • 1 Cup white sugar
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 Cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Crushed roasted peanuts (for the topping)

Now that you have them, what do you do now?

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 Celsius.
  2. While the oven's heating up, get a saucepan and mix the two ingredients for the 'egg replacer' together.
  3. Mix them slowly until it starts to boil, and continue mixing it for around 30 seconds.
  4. Now that that's over, leave it to cool down.
  5. Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl and and the wet ingredients in another bowl.
  6. If the egg replacer is already cool and able to be touched, mix the dry and wet ingredients together, then the egg replacer.
  7. In a greased or wax paper-lined square baking tin, place the mixture and spread (or most likely press them down) until it has been evenly distributed around the tin.
  8. Leave it to bake for 30 minutes.
  9. What's next? Enjoy!
